well i just picked up some volk evo3 17x8 (front) and 17x9(rear) unfortunately i do rub.. i think the offset it like 30? im not really sure i might get thinner tires.. front 235 45 rear 255 40

yeah imma just roll with the wheels i have on now.. then once they get all worn then ill pick up some new tires.. sucks because when i had my 16's i was low.. now with the 17's im a bit higher.. i hate it!!

What you see in the rear are the fender flares which you can see in the front as well. I can take another shot if you'd like to see why I need them. I wanted to widen the wheel base, and did so with an aggressive offset.

So again, it looks great, but unless it's double wishbone suspension, it's something to think about. I don't know the answer to how low you can go on this car before having the effects I mentioned, but it's something a tuning shop can measure for you. I was told by another member that tracks his CL that you can actually go pretty low on this car based on what was said to him by the shop that measured it for him. I personally would feel better having it done anyways knowing regardless.
I forgot to mention, be sure if you do have it corner balanced, have it done with you in the car.
