Clutch ideas...

I got 97 2.2 CL and when i get on it the clutch slips badly. So i am going to replace it but i dont know if i should go with a OEM clutch or if i should go with a Stage 1? I'm not planning on any big mods this year besides i/h/e so the OEM will be fine but maybe end of this yr next yr i want to start doing bigger and better things. So should i go with a Stage 1 then and basically i am asking where can i get a good clutch for a decent price. Im doin all labor myself with a buddy. I dont want to spend alot but he said i need a pressure plate too and either buy a new flywheel or get the old one shaved/cut or whatever. So should i go with a lighter than stock flywheel too? Let me know what you think.

Also what kind of motor mounts should i get? I believe one is bad because when i shift i hear a clunk which to me sounds like the motor is shifting but im not sure. So i am gonna replace the front mount and see if that does anything. Should i go with a poly-urethane or just rubber for that? Vibration doesnt bother me since im coming from the V8 family. Let me know what u think on that too..

Thanks in advance..

Yeah i would also like to know about this. And what would you expect for a difference between the oem and a stage 1 or even 2, with a lightweight flywheel and pressure plate???

Ok, so what gains did you notice. Is it worth upgrading from OEM for everyday driving?

is there a big difference between stage 1 and OEM or not really? i would most likely get a lightweight flywheel anyways but i was thinking about Stage 1 ACT clutch and pressure plate. If the difference isnt that noticeable i dont think i will do that
