Clutch/Fly

i was at NOPI this past weekend and on my first pass, the stock clutch overheated and i couldn't get out of 2nd gear. my 60 ft was 2.177 so i was doing pretty good. i guess that new 75 shot was too much for the 90k mile stock clutch. i want to replace both the clutch and flywheel and i'm pretty sure i want clutch masters stage 3. i found it for 746 shipped to my door with the fly. i also found unorthodox racing setup for about the same price. a friend of mine uses act and fidanza flywheel but doesn't like the act clutch on his lude. what do you guys think? have you seen the clutchmasters combo for under 746 shipped? if so let me know or let me know if you prefer unorthodox.
i smell low 14's and can't wait. remember i have a completely stripped trunk and interior so i know i can get low 14's

I've heard some negatives on cluthcmasters on honda-tech.com.

All I can speak of is what I have and its the ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc. The flywheel I have is unorthodox.

The $746 for both is a heck of a deal and should hold the 75 shot.

I would have to ask why does your friend not like his ACT? Does he have the street disk?

Im already saving for my clutch because Im sure im going to blow mine with the 75 shot, so let me know when you do find one if you like it or not. Try centerforce.

after doing alot of research today and calling almost every clutch manufactuer in the country, clutchmasters centerforce and exedy mostly all suck. i talked to a guy that auto-x's an nsx and he told me to get act with all my mods or i'll have to replace the clutch more often. he said he uses the extreme pressure plate and uses fidanza flywheels. act told me not to use aluminum flywheels with their clutches because they will warp. they said use chromoly or steel. i'm trying to get a hold of jun racing but no one answers the phone. jun flywheels are 100% chromoly and are 1 piece solid construction. does anyone have any contacts at jun that i can talk to, i also want to get cams for the h22 that i'm putting together.

I'm selling some h22 cams on ebay right now. Started the auction at $1 so thats a really good deal. I don't need the stock ones anymore since I'm using Crower stage 2's on my h22. Heres the link, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...852607846&rd=1 .

If you can afford it then go for it. I got my crower stage 2 cams for around $720.00 shipped. I imagine the juns to be over a grand, I've you got the the cash look into skunk2 as well, I bought there dual spring valve springs and titanium retainers and they are great.
