yeah dont get me wrong my cousin just bought the new mercedes c240 amg evolution( the hatchback) which is got 305 ft pds of torque and 285hp at the wheels...so i am not saying that speed is bad and i dont like it.... i just thought it to be rude for him to say that they all suck it is just an opinion but dont dis what other people have and are trying to modify!

.. ok first off.. everyone and their mother has an eclipse.. i'm finishing this acura cl.. and if i didn't want to do this to a cl. i'd go buy a jdm delsol off the boat and drop a gsr block in it.. eclipses are so unoriginal despite what you do to it

since you want to be original, make you CL a twin turbo 5.0L mid engine rear drive. and if you wont this post ended, stop posting almost a 1/4 of the posts are yours.

thats a good poin CLU, and to KrazyPlaya, its cool if you wanna pimp tha car out, like i said, it's a nice car. i love honda for value and reliability, but this CL just aint cuttin it for my need for speed. oh, and fOde... 10.5:1 compression with turbo and NOS??? ROTFLMAO!!! won't happen. RWD? well, if you get a 10.5:1 compression, turbo and NOS and can keep the car runnin, i give you mad props, but i hope jesus is your mechanic. good luck.

actually ghander when he ordered it the stock ones only cost $29 grand but his cost him $46 grand because he ordered it with a supercharger which came with a smaller pulley and upgraded computer through amg!..and whoever is talking about the silvia...and says they can beat it that is a bunch of sh!t the silvia will blow your fu*kin doors off!

2.5 liter engine conversion, modified computer, larger supercharger, high performance exhaust, ported/polished intake and exhaust manifolds, high performance camshafts. Results in total output of 265 bhp @ 5800 RPM and 285 lbs.-ft. torque @ 2800-5100 RPM.
and, i believe those readings are to the flywheel. i don't think that amg offers an upgraded pulley and ecu...brabus does though. AMG will by request remove the speed limiter on their amg models. there isn't an amg version of the c-coupe yet..there might be in the future...the amg evoulution package is equivalent to a sports package w/ stiffer springs, bigger rims, and a nice kit.
if his price tag came to 46Gs, why didnt he just come up with 5-6 more Gs and look into the C32? bigger engine/more power to tweak?

no offense, but, i think your cousin is yanking your chain. as ghander said the only hatch is the C230k. the c240/c320 are the four-door versions of the w203 platform. even with a full renntech conversion:

i think you people are getting off topic.
i dont think he ment to say it in a stuck up way, it just doesnt meet his requirements of fast. hes done some mods still not fast in his opinion. i think you should just put the car aside, weekend car. and it's true if you want to make the car go fast (cl) it will take mucho $$$$ and time. everything on this car has to be like custom. the CL was started as a sport coupe, but then moved towards more luxury then sport.

actually i talked to the dealers at mercedes you need to check your stats oh and by the way he does have a everyday car he drives a 500hp civic thank you very much!...
and to whoever thinks that eclipses are POS's i will let you race my friend david he will beat anyone on this stupid forum or on this website you all need to check out your stats on other cars besides cl's....

Eclipses are fast as balls.
Eclipses are shitty and everyone has one.
