1997 CL w/53000 miles. When starting car in the morning the blower motor makes a grinding/rumbling noise that generates from behing the glove compartment. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how much to fix?

On another note, we recently had the driver window regulator replaced and my son has informed me that the window now makes a rattling/bumping noise when it is partially rolled down. When he hears this noise he can press up against the door panel and it will disappate. Anyone know what is causing this and how to fix without taking back to service dept.?

AHh!! YES! Both of theose are drivin me freakin nuts! The window thing ive been dealing with for a long time now...when it rattles i just roll the window up or down a bit to make it stop...as far as the rattling behind the glovebox...i just knowticed it yesterday....i donno what it is or why its happening but it only happens for me when my car is in drive and my foots on the break and im at a stop...(like at a red light) but if i put the car in N and have my foot on the break at a light, nothin rattles...
ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE RATTLING IS BEHIND THE GLOVEBOX!!!?!?! Im goin insane!!!

(theres not recalls on these 2 items is there??? thatd be sweet)

I have a strange noise behind the glove box too. It started after I ran over a large brick going 30mph and is usually present when the fan is on. All these rattles drive me insane I'm thinking it something with the fan mechanism that was knocked loose when I hit that massive brick.

 

NO CRAP! ALL THESE RATTLES!! Anyone experienced the rattle in the headliner where the sunroof slides back into???? that ones the worst!

 

I have the same type of rattle in my '99 Prelude. Turns out that it was the electrical clip that the moonroof motor attaches to. It came loose from its 'holder' and was bouncing around tapping against the liner. Required pulling liner down and reattaching the clip.

 

Well, the blower motor noise was not duplicated at the service dept. The window noise was caused by the window banging against the window rail inside the door. A temp fix was to but felt tape between the glass and railing. I know this won't last long - tape will fall off. Anyone have a permanent fix for this?
