Clicking

I recently got a 97 3.0CL, and I am just starting to modify it. Just today I started hearing a strong clicking coming from the engine. I can't exactly locate it, but it sounds close to my injectors. Any ideas on what it might be? Thanks

Does it do this while you're driving or when you're starting the car?

It's after the car is warmed up. I can hear it at idle, or while I am driving. I was listening and it is most noticeable at low idle (between 1200 and 2000 rpm). I couldn't hear it when it wasn't warmed up.

those are your valves. How many miles does your CL have on it? The four cylinder vtec motors for honda are known for having to have valve adjustments when they are run hard. Because of the need to be/stay high in the rev range for power, this happens often.

Go to acura and tell them that you need to have your valves adjusted and they will take care of you.
