cleaning rims

Has anyone tried to clean their rims using a power washer on a very low setting? Curious to see if this would work to get that grime that seems to be glued onto my rims.

Just try some wheel cleaner - but make sure you get the right kind! I just spray the shit on, let it sit for like 30 sec, and all the shit comes right off. A lil washing after that gets them spotless.

I gotta try the simple green. Regular wheel cleaners haven't worked for me. I have the 3.0 rims with the 8 million spokes. And on the inside of those spokes it's a textured finish and that's where the dirt and grime sticks and is impossible to get off.

After that, if u want it to be crazy shinny use any wax for the car. First time I tired it, I was like wow.

Anybody know how to remove some minor marks like curb rash or at least make them not look as bad. The previous owner of my car hit the curb too many times while parking it looks like.

Not easy. Just buy some new rims. That shit is a pain in the ass unless you pay someone to do it, and if you were gonna pay someone, just pay for new rims. You can get a set of rims minus tires for like 600bucks. Not Racing Harts or anything, but they are nice.
