Hey guys. I would like to know your opinion on how to clean lugnuts. They are pretty damn rusted on the surface.

Should i sink them into gaz? I know gaz can be used to remove rust. But can it damage the metal too? or is it safe

 

try spraying some brake cleaner on it

 

Replace them?

 

 

I just don't see the point of cleaning a rusty part that's just gonna keep rusting all over your rotors and wheels, new lugs will run u like $20

 

steel wool works great on rusty chrome parts. cheap and pretty easy.

 

Steel wool ftw! Gotta keep those nuts clean.

 

well, im selling old mags, and they asked if i have the nuts for them. I do, but id like to sell them clean nuts, not brown ones... lol.
