Has anyone heard of a supercharger that fits the first gen? I am really just interested to know. Links would be great. ThanX... PEacE

 

Correct me if am wrong but there is no supercharger that fits our CL. Comptech is making one for V6 Accords but since they have a different engine bay setup it won't fit. So the only way you could get it to fit is a 3.0 cl is a custom job.
I guess you'll have to wait for the comptech supercharger to be available before you can see whats up.

 

Also, Jackson racing was suppose to be making one for the 4 cyl Accord. I guess they were going to build it off the Prelude's S/C. That has been a "suppose" to answer for the past 3-1/2 years that I have had my CL.

i do, i posted it here. so a search in this forum. once i get a scanner i will post pics. and it will fit with little mods if any. i have studied the accord v6 engine bay.

 

My friend told me that his friend from school who had a 2.3cl put a supercharge that they make for mustangs. I don't know if they make a supercharger for the 2.3L mustang engine but I suppose that that's what he used. I said had because he crashed it and was totaled including the supercharger which I was thinking of getting it from him...by the way he has an RX-7 now.

 

Word from Jackson Racing on the 2.2 supercharger is a "no go". They were trying to modify the H22 version for the Prelude but could not get it to fit the area allowed and canned the project. Basically, I got the impression that Jackson Racing does not wanted to be bothered with the inquiries. If they had that many you would think they have a big enough market to make a supercharger for the CL/Accord w/2.2 VTEC.
