cl-s 6spd. tranny swap
this is for all the 3.0 owners.......has anyone done any research on the 6spd. tranny from the cl-s to see how it would fit in our 3.0's. i'm guessing it would be a lot better of a fit than a legend tranny. would it mount up just about the same? just something i'm looking into

Not sure if it'd bolt rite up. The 6spd has a mount that hooks up to the tranny and the enigine. From what i've heard you'd also have to weld some sort of L shape bracket in place to support it. I'm sure it can be done.
Ghander, have you looked into this?

first step is finding a 6spd tranny. They aren't just selling these things. You either have to know someone pretty high up, or be lucky enough to find a junker that still has the tranny. Remember, they are only making a couple thousand 6spd CL's. Then that's it...no more.
