I was wondering how much I could get for it.

98 - 2.3 manual trans - clean title - 100k. Whats reasonable to ask for these days?

depend what condiotion its in . when i bought mine a lil over a year ago, it had that mileage and was immaculate inside and i paid 7500 for it

 

My interior is MINT. No cracks or rips or tears, not even stained.

The exterior however. Theres door dings left & right. Front bumper is slightly unalligned (all previous owner).

I take really good care of this car. Always up to date on services + misc.

Standard bolt ons, intake, header, exhaust.

lowered on tokico iluminas coilover system, all the lil ricey stuff, clear corners + black housing.

haha I need to sell it to someone young. I don't think an older person would want this ride.

 

De-mod it and sell it stock. With mods you NEVER get you're money back.

 

nah, I'm not gonna go through the trouble of parting it out.

I don't have time for that, plus I'm not looking to make money off the parts I put on there. I'm moving to the east coast so I'm just looking for suggestions on a price.

 

If you mod the car like you have it's probably only go for about 3/4 or just over a 1/2 of the kbb value. Sometimes you may get lucky and a rich kid will look at the car and buy it automatically and think that the value is HIGHER because of your bolt ons.

 

Why isnt the value higher... :noobalert: <-- they should make that...

 

i guess it all depends on your area..........mine are still semi-expensive for a high mileage 10yr old car.

It's like how a chick isn't worth much anymore after she's been around the block & everyone has already tampered with it. lol bad analogy.

I just want to get rid of it for 6 grand & I'll be happy with that - Is that realistic? KBB says private seller can sell it for 6500 in good condition & 7 in excellent.

out here they arent as expensive, maybe because acura isnt a rare occurance in CT, they can be had for under 5k here

I'm moving to a new life jay thats why! They have CL's out in the east coast for like 3 grand. haha prolly b/c of all the snow + salt

The CL has horrible resale value...no clue why

It's a nice car, I like it and people who ride in my car generally like it also

 

maybe because its 10 yrs old i think it has great resale value.
i've seen a 99 3.0 for $12,000 acouple months ago with 50k on it.

 

i mean... any car thats 10 yrs old with 100,000+ miles is not going to sell for much... most of my friends love my car...

so i think yours is very reasonable.

I bought my 2.2 auto with 75,00 miles for 5,500. I got rims and a custom wing that cost 350 with the car. I guess you could say it wasn't too heavily modded.

I live in Indiana and bought it from our neighbors who are parctically family. They were asking 6,000 and my parents told them that I couldn't afford that so they dropped it 500 for me, But like I said we know them so well they are almost family.
