Pretty much a bolt-on, but is an engine part so you'll have to move things out the way and disconnect one or two items.
Shouldn't be harder than any other DIY project you've done before.

the reason it is called an ice box is becuase it was designed so u could put ice inside and ice up ur intake. it even says it in the papers that come with it. i installed on on my friends 2000 si. it isnt a true CAI either. it gets its air from the same spot as a cai through like a 2.5" pipe with a specially shaped end to try and make it quieter, but it actually makes a howl sound instead of a turbine type sound that i hear from my aem cai

One way for you to experiment Rob is to get a short straight through muffler (or make a modified one) like a Dynomax bullet and put that in-line with the intake tube. See if it'll absorb some of that sound...
Worth a shot.

FYI-
Hot Rodders have been using and making their own "ice boxes" for decades. Usually they'll box their intake tube up and trrow some dry ice in there, Good for a day of racing....

Any pics of these products?
I have to say I'm still in disbelief.
Its been years that our cars have been unsupported in the aftermarket world. Why would someone change it now? If there was money to be made, it would have been done by now.
:thumbsdn:
For false advertising.

hmmm, I know that someone in the stangnet forums was trying to pump co2 into a compartment around the intake to cool the air going in. So that it cools the tube, and doe not actually enter the motor. The idea of cooling the air was good. But not the way that they tried it. Damn stangnetters.

what is going on with this stuff, I would be interested if I knew it was legit and there were some power gains that came with it. I have a throttle body already, now I need the intake manifold to set it off.

To everyone I must first apologize for being absent for so long. Got mid-terms and stuff, didn't realize how much work was invlolved.
These products are legit, and the reason why it's taking so long because we're trying to make everything PERFECT.
I'll get pictures and dyno ASAP.
Again, everybody I apologize for leaving you guys in the dark about this whole thing. I'll start making time to give you guys updates, pics, and all that.
The pics that I'll be posting shortly should satisfy your curiosity.
If not, just tell me and I'll take more pics.

Here are some pics of the products.
Here is one of the throttle body being tested on the flow bench. He always tests and retests for max performance.

This is the custom work done to an Accord.
He can put just about whatever you guys want on it. I was thinking about putting '3.0 CL' or 'ACURA CL' on ours.
Imagine how that would look with our engine plastics covering up the dull parts.
