When i look at the picture I see my CL...the top part of the car...windows + windshield area looks the same...it has the curve on the hood...the point at the front of the car...and the taillights are the same (someone else mentioned this in another thread)

thanks! i remember there was a rear angle sketch that looked pretty good - a lot more similar to our cars than the front end.

This car was a concept vehicle circa '95. At the time, it was being pitched as the next ACURA coupe - meaning the replacement for the 2nd gen Legend coupes. But - as it got closer and closer to being put into production, the hype for this prototye and the new (re: 1st gen) CL had dramatically changed from the introduction of a new car "based on" the CL-X to the introduction of a new car "with styling cues from" the CL-X ... hence the similarities you see. The CL-X isn't based on the 1st gen CL's, the 1st gen CL's are what Honda decided to build "based" on the CL-X. I know which one I'd rather have!
