has anyone put together a cross reference for parts marketed only for accords that will fit our CL's? i/e--strut bars, intakes, short shifters, etc...?

For the 97 2.2 CL, I believe almost everything should be the same. I used to have a 96 Accord EX Coupe (exactly the same engine) so from what I've see, pretty much everything's the same. Springs, shocks, strut bars, intakes, ignition wires, headers, exhaust, etc. If you have anything specific in mind, just post it here and everyone here in this forum will try to give you the best answer possible.

Specifically, procarparts.com has a front & rear strut bar kit for under 50 bucks for the 97 Accord.
Also looking for the short shifter (none on pcp)....

They should all fit. You have to do some mods with the front strut bar though. I believe there's something on the mount (on the passenger side) that you have to cut. I hope this helps.

re-racing.com has the b&m shift kit. its not a new lever, it just relocates where the shift cables attach, FYI. I'm VERY happy with mine....a little pricey though.

I get most of my stuff at re-racing. Got an AEM regulator and brake pads on the way from them. Let mw know if you know of somewhere cheaper.

Casper, I have been looking at your pics. Damn, you have been doing some major modifications. Looks good. Are you planning on trying to throw in the manual shifter from an accord? Where did you get those turning signal lights for the front of your car? Mine are yellow and look terrible.

casper, i don't mean to drag this topic out, but are you saying that for a 98 2.3 cl would take the same parts as a 98 4 cylinder accord?
