chirping tires in 3rd gear
Wondering who can chirp their tires in 3rd gear. Probably not any of the auto's, so sorry 3.0's. If you can list your mods and tires. I used to be able to untill yesterday when I put my 18"s on. Before that with my 17's I could get it almost every time. I just have e/i/h so i'm sure alot of you can.

With stock tires and if I really tried I can get it everytime. With my 18's on Yokohama Parada Spec II's I could hardly chirp them in second. Maybe one time out of 20 tries.

it doesn't mean your car is faster if it can chirp, alot of it has to do with your clutch. But auto's aren't even suppossed to chirp stock. Even 2nd is hard to believe.

OK this i have been wondering about...everyone says they can chirp them in second gear with their 3.0 Auto's....now i know my mods list isnt near your alls but HOW THE HELL DO U CHIRP 2nd!!! Ive stied starting in 1st and then getting it to almost redline and shifting to second and it NEVER chirps...whats wrong with my cl!?!

I know i've chirp at 3rd before....maybe its my tires or something. 2nd gear i'll get a chirp 80% of the time...even now with the new tires. If i'm at the light and left it in D3, light turn green and i'll floor it i'll get a pretty good burn out then a 2nd gear chirp. after 3rd i'll throw it back in D4.

VAFC tunable based on throttle position and rpm. Repeatable.
Venom 400 based on phases of the moon and farmers almanac. Questionable.
Put them together and you'll have the venom changing things when you dont want it to.
