Okay i change dmy battery and the chirping noise when i lock the cars doesn't come on anymore... i wnat it back!!!!! how do you get the chirping noise back form the alarm?

search!!! but all that you have to do is hold down the trunk and unlock key until you see the light blink, then unlock the car to make sure it worked.

 

on a kinda related note... for the past few weeks, my chirpy locking noise keeps sorta 'turning itself off'... then when i try to set it so it works again, it takes a couple tries before it starts chirping again. i don't think it's a battery problem cuz it still locks/unlocks just fine... any ideas??

 

might be in your pocket or purse... and stuff pressing on it? or remote battery is dying.

hold the trunk key down and press the luck key down immediatly after....

hold both keys down until the little red light on the key fob/remote blinks once.

then release both keys and your chirp should be back...

to remove the chirp, repeat proceedure.

 

Mesmerize.... I had the same problem with the chirping. I took out the remote battery an cleaned off the battery and contacts. It has been working fine since. you might also want to get a new battery depending on how old it is.......
