Check Engine Light

i hit a construction zone when driving on a major highway. the drop from the street they were working on was a good 3". so i'm flyin down the highway and all of a sudden my car soars in the air for a good second... and my car lands, big thud, and then i slow down to about 20. and there are cars next to me flying and now shooting rocks at my car because of the gravel pit they had there. after a mile i finally climb back out of the pit and i realize that my check engine light is now on.. how gay.. there weren't any signs for this pitfall or anything.. just a sign for when it was going to come back up to normal level.

my car didn't take any damage thank god, i think the check engine light was just a coincidence. my local shop told me that the car read the code * P0401P1491 * which is still covered under warranty for my car till 130k miles they said. he said it's a common code for our cars and that acura covers it under their warranty.. anyone else have this? sorry for the long post for just a simple question.. haha

im guess the thud made your piping from the headers - to the catalytic

converter mess up somewhere along the line..

you probably un-attached the sensor.

if the codes are related to clogged or restricted egr gas flow, it would be covered by a extened policy by acura. they will drill out your exhaust gas passage and insert stainless steel tubes.
