You can't be serious, are you? If so, start with baby steps my man.....try learning how to spell "transmission" first.

 

your better off saving the 7 grand it'll cost and buy a new car.

 

It is doable if you have a 4 banger, if you have a 3.0 don't even bother thinking about it. A 2.x you can swap a h22 tranny or 2.2-2.3 depending on your motor but if you're going through all the work, just swap the whole h22 motor and tranny in and have fun. Fixed your spelling, but i had to laugh, it was a great try "changing transmition"

 

as well as "manuel"

 

so either change egine or change car best bet then

 

1. Don't bother unless you're engine swapping too.

2. Refer to rule 1.

 

what is h22 motor..can some one please be more specific...I keep on hearing this word h22 again and again...what is a h22 motor and what is a h22 tranny???

The only question that should come to mind is, how much are you willing to spend. The rest is easy if you have the dough. Auto to manual for the 2.X fellas, should run about $2,000. But always plan for the worst.

 

its the prelude motor, with 190 hp stock and a lot of potential. the h22a tranny is, OBVIOUSLY, the transmission that comes with the motor and is geared for it.

 

how much potential have pplz here got w/ that engine?

 

well i have a stock h22 with bolt ons as in CAI, Headers, Exhaust in my prelude, so its nothing special. You're better off PM SupraManAG, he has some headwork done to his h22. or you can go over to hondatech prelude forum, there's some tuned ones there. But for example, i saw a prelude for sale around my area with 285hp. he had cams, gears and etc. thats pretty crazy
