Changing Power Steering Pump

Although I have an h22, it shouldn't matter. Anyone have any idea how to change the power steering pump? is it easy? Mine's cracked, and i purchased another one (used). I just needa put it in or pay someone, but labor costs from the honda dealer is about $200.

Help me replace my power steering pump please!!!

Thanks in advanced.

i believe theres 2 screws... the top one is for the tension and the bottom one is the one that holds it to the block

On all models: Drain fluid. remove power steering belt. disconnect inlet and outlet hoses at pump. remove pump retaining bolts. remove pump. to install, reverse removal procedure. adjust belt tension. fill reservoir with new fluid. check for leaks.

I've talked to 5-6 shops and noone would pull the tranny out for under $200 let alone take the casing off and assess a problem
