changing drivers side axle

Ive ordered a new drivers side asle assy. How big of a job is it to change these out? Will I need any special tools to do it? Does anyone have a link to a DIY covering this?

ps its not hard, unbolt the 2 joints and just pull on the hub it will come right out w/ a few pounds of a big hammer

I had imixxwell do mine, it took him like two hours on each side since the splines were slightly rusted. Its really not hard at all.

The Axle is easy it basically slides out once you drop the lower ball joint and pull the spindle to the side...

LOL. The procedure itself isn't hard, you just unbolt a few things. Getting them off was a bitch.
