Change of plans. To boost or not to boost(free)

Yeah. My friend just got his 97Eclipse GST upgraded to a T66 + Greddy intercooler. He said I could have his stock turbo and intercooler. All I would have to do is pay for all the custom piping and shit. I know it wouldn't be a strong setup but another 20HP is better than nothing. If I were to do the turbo option, I wonder what the borderline boost(4?) would be without blowing the tranny?

0.7 lbs! :P

I have no clue, but congrats!

I agree, an increase in just 20 HP would help alot!

I gotta figure out how much$ it would be for all the custom piping and all that stuff. If it's gonna be an outrageous amount I'm gonna pass on it. Isn't there a 3.0 member with a turbo already though?

It's the exhaust manifold you'll probably spend most of your money on. Do you know if the bolts will fit right up?

On the 3.0 the manifold empties out on both sides of the engine...
