CF Vinyl?

I just ordered carbon fiber vinyl off ebay. i was talking to d5c5b and he said it bubbles when it gets too hot. i was wondering if any else here has tried this and how well does it work? should i heat the vinyl to better work with the edges and curves? any instruction would be helpful.

note i plan to take off all the parts that i plan to vinyl.

any help is help.

i've been trying to find some real CF sheets to get rid of the fake woodgrain crap but i haven't found anything that looks good. any companies make a dash kit yet that doesn't look like crap?

heating the vinyl makes it easier to apply. if you use windex to spray onto the wood panels, and apply the vinyl with it still wet from the windex, there will be no bubbles at all. make sure you go over the whole thing with a vinyl squeege. if you don't know what that is, it's a plastic card looking thingy with a dull edge so you don't tear shiet up. good luck with the vinyl, i was going to do mine, but i can't figure out how to take the wood out. i'm too scared that i'll snap them, i've heard bad stories about other people on this forum that have.

heheh

I already did mine!!!

it works very well..

i got the c/f vinyl from the ebay..

and then.. i put them on!!

it was kinda hard to put it...

i used a ruler to measure all the thing...

and... i drew the part that i need to the c/f vinyl..

well.. but then i don't have a camera..

i'm trying to fix up my car now...

i got a custom tv on my car, two tv on the headset, one tv on

the passenger sunvisor, and JL subs with custom in trunk...

i did all these by myself.. =)

it was HELLA HARD..

well.. when i'm done, I'LL POST THE PIX!! =)

wait~~
