center console screws?
center console screws?
I just got a B&M shor shift adapter and I cant get the center console cover off. The instructions say to remove the two screws at the rear of the center console. I have already removed like six different screws and it dosent seem to want to come off. does anybody know how to get the cover off, so that I can get to the shifter cable?
Okay, it's still fresh in my mind because I did it yesterday...
Two screws in the rear ashtray. Two screws in the center compartment under the CD tray (pull it out). There's a screw on each side of the center console... you're gonna have to move the seats a bit to get your screwdriver in there. That gets rid of the center compartment, which exposes two more screws right where the compartment met the shifter trim. Take out your radio. There's two screws in there too. Remove your glovebox (two screws, one on each hinge). The final screw is thus exposed. Remove the panel directly over the driver's knees (one screw in the coin holder, then pull it off).
That's as far as I got... the trim keeps getting stuck on the handbrake, but I was just changing the boot.
