CEL Help!!!
got a CEL a few months ago, wasnt too concerned with it as the car seemed to still be running fine. Noticed recently that my gas mileage wasnt too great, so i went ahead and made a stop at autozone to get free OBDII check. It was the primary O2 sensor heater malfunction, sprung the $150 for the bosch OEM replacement. Changed it this past weekend with no difficulty that a little PB blast couldnt fix. So now to the problem, the damn CEL wont go away!!!
I've tried the radio/backup fuse, ecu fuse, last night i even disconnected the battery completely(positive & negative) and pulled the aforementioned fuses, left them all disconnected for an hour, started the car and sure enough still there!!
what am i doing wrong?! any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
you mean Check engine light right?
o2 sensors are covered under the extended warrenty from acura up to 150k so its free, waste of 150 there
pull the code
you can do the paper clip technique, there is a harenss that is blue in color under your glove box and it has 2 wires going into it, disconnect the harness, and make a paperclip into a U shape
then stick one end in one side of the wire and the other end on the other side of the wire now turn on your car to accessory and you got yourself a homemade CEL checker
if this doesnt help pm me and i ca send youa pic

thanks for the reply but this isnt really answering my question
1. emission extended warranty does not cover 98+ http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Reference/tsb/98-031.htm
2. I already knew what the problem was from the OBDII check.
3. I've since fixed what it told me was wrong, but i cant get the CEL to leave.

the engine code will stay on for 40 starts and 40 shut downs, go back to autozone grab the scanner and clear the code and hope it goes away (if it doesnt you didnt fix the problem, but it sounds like you should have)

if u have a capacitor on your speakers it will stay on for as long as it has a charge. just disconnect your battery and turn on your head lights, weather or not u have a cap. cause the ecu has a backup battery that lasts for 10 min after the battery has been disconnected.
if your light goes out drive it twice, bringing it to atleast 50 and let it cruise down to bout 25 two times in a row, the car only thro's the code if it detects a hard code (like something not working at all or is disconnected) or intermittant codes after two cycles (50-25 cruise) after each cruise turn it off, then start it back up and do it for the second time.
