CD player removal

New member, just bought a '97 2.2 with 39720 miles for $9700, clean history. Where can I go to see a diagram for removing the stock HU? Is ti difficult to do or should I pay someone to do it? Anything I should look out for in this particular model (5 speed)? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Go to installdr.com and they have detailed instructions for the CL/Accord. That is how I installed mine. Very good instructions, real easy to do. No need to blow $60 on install.

Once you pry off the trim ring, just unplug the hazard switch and clock. Then shine a flashlight under the storgage compartment (under the headunit), and you'll see 2 bolts. Undo the bolts, and the headunit/storage compartment/mounting bracket will pull out enough to unplug the antenna. You're done!

I've the stock tape deck instead of the compartment box... is it still the same step?

BTW, anyone knows if either the PANASONIC CQ-DFX572U, JVC KD-SH707 or KENWOOD KDC-MPV619 are any good?
I'm looking for decent but good looking mp3/cd deck...
Please comments

Thanks...

I believe so, as I think the cassette player is bolted to the head unit.
