So the saga continues. I replaced my cat with an OEM cat and about 50 miles down the line my CEL pops on, I disconnect the battery reset the computer and whallah the CEL goes off, 50 miles later pops back on. I jump it for the code and it comes back 67, Catalyst Below Threshold. So I shoot over to the mechanic, one of his guys throws it on his computer and tells me to replace the O2 Sensors, so im like BS he clears the code CEL goes off and bam 50 miles later right back on, and then I start noticing some smells, like piss and shit, especially when i turn the ac on. So finally again today I go back today tell him its def a bad cat, the head guy throws it on the computer and knows its bad thank god. He calls the place where he bought it from and heres the kicker, they never told him that the unit was sent back once defective. So now the dirty bastards are sending a brand new cat in so I gotta lose a few hours of the car on thursday for them to throw it in, but at least now maybe ill get my MPG back, ive used 3/4 of a tank and only went 250 miles, so im hoping to get back into the high range
