A few questions....

Can we get the hood with rolled edges? Does rolled and cut edges really make a difference? I heard the rolled edges look more clean. The hood pins...are those required for the hood not to flop off while your going 100? One member is buying two from what im reading and if the options are right, I would like to take that 2nd hood off the other member so he only has to buy one.

Don't worry about the rolled thing. You would only be able to tell if you were looking for it. The hood pins are not required, but highly recommended for saftey. You still use the factory latch, so its not the end of the world if you don't get pins, but its a good idea.

thats bad news ding

Ill buy this. Rather pay 285 for a lighter, better looking hood than 400 for heavy OEM. Will I be able to paint this and than take off the paint if i wanted to later?

You can definitely paint it but not too sure about stripping it off...

The company that is supposed to make it is www.streetconcept.com

Grade AA with a carbon fiber skeleton (NOT the cheap fiberglass)
UV Coated

Also, I think a couple of members had theirs done from VIS and weren't too happy with the quality/fit...

VIS is pricey and they take a long time. . . . plus they have to get a mold. but you get me a number and i can talk shop with them.

hey what's up it's gb boy. yes i need atleast 5 people that want a REAL Cf hood from vis. yes it's a little pricy but it has rolled edges and the underside is glossy, so that it won't fog up when it is really humid out unlike thet streetconcepts hood. yes i can get them i just need 5 people to say they want one. i can get them vented or anyway that you want them. i just need 5 of each

street concept isn't cheap carbon but on a 20k dollar car who would want a hood that it looks like someone just rolled it out and just cut it? not me. vis would take a month and a perfect hood from someone in Ca or i will but a new hood and have it shipped their.

CALL VIS AND GET A PRICE!!
see whats up, maybe it would be better(we could customize our own) i'm not saying that im out of the group buy, i just want to see the options because this is important and i keep hearing bad things about street concepts, and i dont want to end up with an alright hood when i could have a great one.
