Car is soaked!!

Ok like 2 dayz ago it rained all day long...

Yesterday morning Im driving to class and i realize this mildew kinda smell(mostly from the back). I looked back there and the floor mats were soaked!! Only in the back tho and the seats were fine and everything else just the floor we drenched...My windows were closed, sun roof was closed. I even had my friend hose down the car with me in it to see if there was any leaks but i didnt see any water seapin in. Anyone have any idea's how they got soaked? And anyone know how to get rid of that smell? I think imma go buy some air freshners...I try to vacumn out the water at a gas station and left the floor mats in the sun to dry :o

You sure no one dropped anything back there? Checked the sunroof or side window gaskets?

Or have you had the car detailed lately? My car had her car detailed and the seats were soaking wet. Apparantly, they steam cleaned her seats.

could be the trunk leaking and running down the back side of the seat on to the floor.

I was thinking that to. Is there a dimple in the metal under the rear seat that water could collect in or does the carpet go right up under the seat?

It's the trunk. When it was raining here very hard I had water leaking into my trunk. I still don't know where it getting in at. I ran water all over the car and no water was getting in.
