I was driving to Orlando for a work meeting and after about 50 miles the car started shaking really bad. It felt like the a flat tire or like it the wheel was just going to fly off (only doing 75 mph). So I turned the ac off and put down the windows to hear were the shaking was coming off but after about 1 minute it stopped. I checked the tires at the gas station and they were ok, just needed a little bit of air. After that I rode with the windows down and there was no problem getting there and back. do you guys have any idea what happened? the only thing I have done to my car is change a cv boot about 10 days ago

You could have just ran over something that got stuck in the wheel well. The only other thing would be that the tread on your tires came off (yes it happens) but you would have noticed that when you inspected them.

after I changed the cv boot the car seems to shake a little, especially in second gear at about 3000-3500 rpm. But it has been running four two weeks and I have not had it shake that bad. I was so freaking nervous I tought my rim was about to fall off Im going to take the tires off tomorrow and check for any damage. Also, i dont think it was the road since it was a side to side motion as if one off the wheels had a lot more chamber angle than the other. Have any of you guys felt your car shake a bit?
