I know I'm dredging an old thread, but I'm curious, how much did you guys pay for your 5900 install? I was quoted 599 for everything this morning ( program immobilizer bypass, the actual system and labor ). They said it would take 6 hrs, so, I guess that comes out to 50 an hr in labor. Do you think that's about right?

I'm moving to DC, and my first inclination was to keep the factory alarm since I'll probably park in safe areas most of the time, but the 5900 looks nice and I'll probably upgrade my system once I get the alarm..and I'd rather not take a chance on losing it and my mods from some thief ( granted, an alarm is only a deterrent and not gonna stop a determined thief )

599...about right?

if u wanna get a new KEY, the dealer has some hot ones. IMO, of course lol.

thats about right for a fully installed system

I paid 250 for mine and did the shit myself :p. . . using pre-existing harnesses from the last PROFESSIONAL installation , all I really had to do was run the new transmitter/reciver antenna, ran it up, planted it on the back of the rearview and off I went
