do a search for dustbuster4 and alternator he has one i think, and has posted a link or the name of the company to get it from.

The aftermarket alternator from "alterstart" is 180 amps.


Installation cost was $0.00. I installed it myself (with the help of my brother-in-law).

did you pay $250 for the 180amp alternator? it siads it is for the 3.0 V6 but will it fit in the 2.3?

I paid $149 for mine about 2 years ago.

I'm not sure if it will fit the 2.3.

Ohio Generator makes some higher amp alternators. Be prepared to shell out some $$$ unless you have the hook-up.

If you have an alternator pulley, just swap back to stock.
