Unhappy cant drive without a steering wheel...

Hey guys,

I'm in desperate need for a OEM 2.2cl steering wheel. It could be just the steering wheel itself, or without the center air bag. Mine's starting to shed leather crumbs!

moved to main forum.

Try posting a WTB thread in the Black Market. Also, read the DIY I made for the steering wheel swap.

BTW, you need a 97 CL steering wheel only. If you had a 98-99, you could get a 98-99 or a MDX or 2nd gen CL steering wheel, as the airbag comes as a seperate piece. Unfortunately for you, you have a one piece wheel.

hmm, that explains why we 97 are the only one with spoke mounted horn buttons............... BUT, I was in a crash that deployed the bags, got the same old chapped and crusting wheel with a fresh airbag?????

lucky for me its only going on the top............ but im more worried about my tranny than my wheel at this point

well if thats the case you can always rip off the leather and be left with a decent looking rubber steering wheel. but its a pain to get the leather from around the horn buttons and where it meets with the airbag.
