My Deck

I have this deck, is there a way where I can just buy an LCD unit and hook my head unit up to it? Cuz I have that extra space under my deck that I NEVER use, and I thought it'd be cool to have an LCD....Thanks

Also, if I can....can any LCD fit in my CL? or are there certain ones...I want that one where it comes out of the dash.

people have even flush mouted 7in screens in their dash

 

I mean, keep using my CDA-7863....but instlal an external LCD into it....sorry if I didn't clarify that

yeah, thats basically the exact setup I want...Does that LCD just have some kind of weird plug that goes into the Deck? And is the LCD just an LCD only? Or does it have its own radio etc stuff in it....how much it cost? I'm sorry, I'm new to this, but a quick learner ^___^

I mean....like you see your LCD unit? Is there any that is only the LCD? Like, it requires a deck to be used? That would be the perfect thing for me...

So if the CVA-1004 is an amp thing itself, why do you have that other thing under it? What does music use? I'm confused haha

 

Ohh i'm using the cva just for the screen. Its an all in one except you need a dvd/cd player. For ex. dva-5205. I'm using that unit under it because that dvd player dosen't play cd'rs. So im using the cda-7995 as the main controll unit and the cva-1004 as a monitor/dvd player controll.

 

If your deck has a video out, then it should have no problem connecting to an external screen. They also make decks that have flip out screens, like the one posted eariler. Some of these are just screens, some have radio, some have a built in cd player, some have everything.
