camber kit or not

im confused i have read that any drop of 2in or more requires a camber kit but at the same time i have also read that 1.75 in requires a camber kit but it is less than a 2 in drop i am getting intrax springs or the neuspeed which are 1.75in so i need to know whether or not i need a camber kit.

please respond with any info

I used to have the neuspeed drop, 1.75, never had a camber kit, and it was all good.

I've got a 1.75 front 1.5 rear, and I just got my car back from the shop, and my camber is fine. Time will tell I guess.

i think that it just depends on how much you drop your ride not the actuall kit that you used to lower it ? the lower you go then the more you are likely to need a camber kit!

I got the sportlines, and my rims deffinetly look like the camber is off, but i havn't had it on long enough to see if there are wear problems or not (but there will be).

I put neuspeed sports) 1.75/1.5 F/R) and the alignment in the front was ok, but the rear was off by 2 degrees so they said i needed a camber kit for the rears only. what do you guys think?

I have the Pro-Kit (1.5" drop) and definitely need a camber kit!

I just did the neuspeed / kyb setup. AlInMeNt PrObLeMs!!! without the camber kits front and back. Definitely worth getting the camber kit. I have a friend that didnt get the camber kit and the inside of his tires wore down BiG TyMe!!!

It varies by the car I think. I have the pro-kit and have no camber problems. Some with those springs need the kit and some don't. Just get it done and pay attention to the tire wear. You can catch it early enough to tell you need the kit and not ruin the tires. Just keep an eye on them.

you're so set. All you'll need to do is get an alignment shop to shim the rears. They'll just put a few washers on there and that should be enough to correct your rear camber problem. If they won't do it, there are tons of DIY instructions on civic/accord forums, but most shops will do it for you if you ask.
