I already bought the caliper paint in blue, yet those who have done this before do you have any tips?

Take a brake cleaner spray and a wire brush to clean off the calipers. That is what I did and mine turned out good.

Ditto - just make sure you let the calipers throughly dry before applying the paint. Oh post some pics when you do them because mine are red and i really wanted to do blue but wasnt too sure how they would look. Thanks

I took mine completely off the car so I could get the whole caliper. You can leave the brake lines attached and use a coat hanger attached to the springs to hold the calipers up while you paint.

I painted mine the other day (aluminum) and it looks pretty good. I just used engine cleaner to clean them first and them used a brush to paint them. Very easy job, nothing to it. I think it takes longer to jack the car up and take the wheels off than it does to actually paint them. I also did my custom mesh grill the same day and it turned out great, it the same as vxcl's. It took me 4 hours and was a pain in the ass, but was well worth it.
