A-C-U-R-A letters...I made my own..

Ok, I didnt really make them. I debadged my trunk. I took the ACURA badge and broke off each individual letter. I took some 3M tape just to free-hand it up on the trunk with my stock "A" emblem. They are not measured or even by any means. I kind of like it, should I go for it? Or leave it plain? Feedback please.....

LETTERS:

PLAIN:

Thanks to all!!

I like it!

I also like the "smooth" look though. Just debadged mine (with the exception of the emblem).

it doesn't look bad w/ it on there...it just looks kinda busy.
maybe if you could remove the big "A" and just keep the word "ACURA" in it's place...like the new model CL's have.

but personally, i like it with just the "A" symbol on the back

I thought the new ones have the A on the back as well. IT's just bigger than our first gens.

Thanks for the feedback. Im still torn between the two as well. I leave it smooth and bare for now.

I like the idea!

Here's what the 2nd Gen badges look like (in gold):

I like that dust...yours was one of the reasons I tried this out. I just thought if I could use my own letters, I wouldnt have to replace my emblem for the 2nd gen one which is alot bigger. Would save a few bucks too. I wanted to keep the size about the same. That is IF I do it.

I can always try it for a while and then take it off.

i dont like how you can see the tape, plus the letters look too spaced apart for the size of our trunk. try it a little closer together and cut the tape so you cant see it and it may look tits

I know the tape makes it look stupid. I just did it for the general idea. I wasnt trying to make it permanent yet. I still have not put them on yet. I tried the letters closer too, Im just so indecisive about it.

Oh well, naked we stay for time being. Sometimes LESS IS MORE!!

I like it....it's different and it looks good. You could always take it off when you're bored of it, right? Altough I like dustbuster4's 2nd Gen factory letterings more. It always seems that factory made stuff is always better looking over stuff you fabricate yourself...know what I mean? Must be a placebo affect. But yours look good. I'd go for it.

I don't know what everyone's talking about. I think it looks pretty sweet. Kind of climactic, reminds me of the last scene in space odyssey. heh, nevermind...
