Mitchell on Demand says 21.1-22.9 oz of R134a and 5.3 oz of ND-8 oil (a good DE PAG will substitute).
If system has been allowed to go to atmospheric pressure, you need to repair the leak, vacuum for 1/2 hr for moisture, and recharge. A new receiver/drier should be used if system has been discharged for any length of time.

i have this slow leak in the system. i have to recharge once every 2 years. i know it's coming from a connection in the front. probably an O-ring.
i got a can of freon that claims to stop the leaks. I put about 1/2 a 12 oz can in there and it stopped sucking, so i guess it's full?
so am i gonna mess up my system? it's cooling now

The "stop leak" stuff is for the birds, and could cause long term damage. Read about it at following link

Your charge procedure is not adequate to know if system is undercharged, correctly charged, or overcharged. You need a manifold gauge set and measure both high and low system pressures, engine at 1500 rpm, doors and windows closed, AC on max fan & recirculate, and car in shade. Low side should be 25-30 psi, and high side should be about 2.5*ambient air temp in degF, so 100 deg air ~ 250 psi high side pressure. Pressures are when compressor is engaged. Pressures are approximate.
good luck
