A/C filter

Does anybody kno if a 98' 2.3 has filter for the A/C system?
I need some help because my air coming out of the vents smells somtimes.

if we dont have one, isnt ther some foam cleaning stuff that u can spray through the vents in the car that cleans out the system?

You can spray Lisol into the intake vents under the hood.
