I'm making my own intake...but what is this bypass valve and where do I get one?

They're controversial. Those that have them, swear by them, but an equal (or greater number) don't think they're necessary.

I don't have one, and don't plan on getting one.

 

I have a brand new one that I bought w/ my cai about a week ago and just never installed it, if you want it we could hook up and Ill give you a good deal. Let me know man
