Bypass o2 sensor or drill and tap new cat?

Bypass o2 sensor or drill and tap new cat?

Just bought a racing cat, should I bypass the o2 sensor or just drill and tap the new cat???? Anybody know if there is an advantage for one or the other?

By racing cat is it an actual cat or a straight pipe? You can rewire the O2 sensor for about $3 of parts and just hang it underneath somewhere. If you use it you will get slightly better gas mileage though.

id reccommend using the 02 sensor...im surprised urs didnt come with a hole to fit it in the racing cat i bought from zapperfomanceexhaust.com did...even if it doesnt u can take it to meineke and they'll drill n install it for pretty cheap
