that's too much. You can find a 2.3 Prem. with somewhat low miles for 7K.

Definitely too much. Go to Kbb.com and check out the price you would get if you were trading such a car in. Then check out the price at which you might purchase the same car from a dealer. Somewhere in between there is what the car is actually worth.

Yeah, we got our 99' with leather, sunroof, 5spd, spoiler, with about the same miles for $6K! So a 98' with the same miles and cloth interior should be alot less!

Good luck with haggling them! It works since we worked the dealer from $7500 asking price, down to $6K!

I have have 98 2.3CL Premium 5sp w/78K on the clock and was offered $6,000 as trade toward a 2001 Saab 9.5 Aero. I didn't think that was enough since my car is almost "showroom" condition and I had added tape player, spoiler, fog lights and premium floormats. You need to be prepared to "deal" or drive away... if they want to sell it, they can come down.

my 1998 3.0 premium is worth 6K trade in with 82K miles. I used to work at a dealership. I know.

the 98 2.3 5 speed with cloth with 102K miles shouldnt sell for more than $4,000. NO ONE will warranty that car. its a 5 speed(play it like no one wants 5 speeds). And its a luxury car with cloth. Break it down to the dealer that its a car in its condition that could sit on his lot for a year and no one will touch it
