BULB names???

Please refer to the picture and the way i numbered it to answer my question. I wanna get clear corners. I wanna replace all the head light bulbs 1-3 With superwhite head bulbs. I wanna replace light bulb 5 with super white bulbs as well. BUT light bulb '4' i want to get a yellow bulb so that when it blinks it still blinks yellow. I need the type of bulb for 1-5. What are the names etc... So that way when i go into the store i'll be like i need a pair of HB4's and HB3's etc... And i wanna know if by replacing bulb '4' with a yellow bulb would it flash yellow so that its at least legal? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx guys.

PS ~ whats the cheapest you guys have bought clear corner's for? ~thanx again guys

3 & 5: type 194
4: type 7443

If you want all of them to look the same, don't go for super plasma because the super plasma for type 194 has different color.
Go with PIAA Extreme White all around.

As for 4, I use to have APC Amber bulb. But it will make the clear corner toooo orange. So, I just use the stock bulb now as it is kind of yellow anyway.
3 & 5, I am using LED bulb which produce a pretty cool color though not as bright.

Have fun!

I don't think autocarparts has APC type 7443 bulb.
I would recommend Polarg or PIAA all around as they are very durable.
Also, try to order it from store when you can because you can check to make sure the bulb works.
I had some bad experience from ordering bulb online.

I dont know about the super white bulbs... but you can get the amber bulbs from any automotive store for probably half what you would pay for apc's garbage. apc's fade really quick anyway.

That car looks familiar... i wonder who it is...

Ya, I would go with the stock clear bulb which make the clear corner looks mucccccch better!

As for clear corners, I bought mine from autodynamic.com for $44. They packed it very good to avoid shipping damage.

The auto parts stores dont carry the blinker bulbs in amber. You can get some amber bulbs from them that have like plastic surrounds at the bottom which if you cut off will fit in for the most part.

That would be one of Ghanders cars

3+5-168 or194(same bulb)
4-hard as hell to find, dont even bother. Get the dual element bulb that looks the same, but with two filiments. (looks like a big version of the 168 or 194. Both filiments will burn giving it a brighter look. I have had these for 2 years without problems.

I am a distributer for SPW(Nokya, Polarg, Raybrig, ect), APC, PIAA, and many other bulb manufacturers. I know what I am talking about when I say this, even though everyone is going to argue with me. Hyperwhite front turn signals are !!!!not illeagal!!!!!. Yes, I said not illegal. Rear ones are.

The law reads like this:
Front: White, amber, or any color in between.
Rear: Amber, red, or any color in between.
Hince, front signals can be hyper"white".

I sell lenses, bulbs, and any other accessories out of Kansas City. I can ship them to anyone on this forum who wants anything. Simply e-mail or PM me with info. I would be glad to "hook up" my fellow CL brothers.

I do not deal in performance parts as much, so I am not trying to compete with Rmstoico. He knows that area much better than I.
However, when it comes to bulbs and lenses, I know what I am talking about.

PS. I have Polarg all the way, and it looks just like HID, I get tons of complements. But I can get you PIAA or Nokya as well.

I got my yellow signal bulbs here:
http://secure15.dellhost.com/~d30022...ored_bulbs.htm

Get the 7440 single filament yellow. Looks good and as far as I know it's the only place to find them at a decent price! They match PIAA ion yellow pretty well.

Peace,
Nomad

excremanCL was right... the HIGH beam is 9006... the LOW beam is 9005...

then the 7443 which is an 1156 only brighter... 1156 also works fine.

Dont get APC lights. They suck. Go to Autodynamic.com and get the Opti-Blue Xenon Bulbs for the High and Low Beam Headlights. Then get the Polargs for you sidemarkers, parking and turn signal bulbs. You wont be disappointed.

OK everyone...
LOW BEAM:9006
HIGH BEAM:9005

Headlamp configuration is style HB4, but that doesn't really mean anything to most people. That is simply the way the lamp is arranged.

I can get you the set-up that I have in my car that is comparable, if not better in my opinion, that PIAA. Whatever you do, stay away from APC at all costs. I used to deal with them and they really are poor quality products. So are the bulbs you will find at parts stores. They are dyed like shit and turn out green.

MaCe, I will e-mail you prices. Thanks.
