Brake problems?

are there any known issues with the brakes on a 97 3.0? when i brake it feels the same as if i were to bleed the brakes. me and my friends thought it was just a leak somewhere but we checked and we couldnt find where the brake fluid was coming from. anyone have a problem like this? and iv been told if i dont get this fixed it could wear out my master cylinder or somthing but my other friend who i do trust more when it comes to cars says it wont matter as long as i keep refilling the brake fluid when it gets low. any help is apprecieated. thx

I had a lot of problems with the brake system on my car. Is your Ebrake light, or ABS light coming on? Those sensors are your first clue. I actually lost my brake pressure twice, both times was one of my rear calipers blowing, and leaking fluid. If you can't find the problem with the pressure, take it somewhere to have it checked, you don't want to loose your brakes, I had it happen to me twice. NO FUN!!

only twice? im driving alot of times with nearly no pressure,no sqeeking or grinding cuz i just replaced my bearing which was torn to shit,my brake light comes on when im low on fluid and my ABS light always likes to come on and i get that buzzing sound from somewere in my engine bay region just every so often but always atleast once when i start the car. apparently i have some kind of leak and my friend has come to a conclusion that its leakign from the caliper, where the piston goes into the rotor and that black rubber thingy goes around it, so we were planning on getting new a new caliper, which brings me to my next question are there any cars that would have a compatible rear right caliper for a 97 3.0?
