Bougt a 6spd tranny

time has come to shell out my money and put it into that will help maintain a 150 shot. I've been searching and searching for a reasonable priced 6sp tranny and i finally found one from a wrecked type s 6spd. I should have the tranny in a 2 weeks and then i'm gonna have the babe put in my car. Heads up, i might be selling my 3.0 tranny with 65k on it if anyones interested. This project is gonna go through!

Who's gonna install it? What mods will be needed to make it fit?

damnit i think you beat me to it, we found a tranny and did the measurement tests and it doesn't look like it's gonna be that hard of a project, the wiring may be a challenge though, but shouldn't be to difficult. Also, we weren't sure on clearance in the frame, some trimming may need to be done. Best of luck w/ the project. What did you pay for it, best i've found is at the dealer for 1800$ but i'm not about to pay that.

better gearing, you'll be able to launch better, you won't have to worry about having to much power for the stock automatic. And, you get to shift through the gates of heaven

Good Luck bro. That will be a break through with the 3.0's. Just curious. if the 6-speed tranny at the dealer comes with that 100k warranty?

Sorry about all the post, i only meant to send it once but i see it kinda went crazy. I bought the tranny from a dealer in okc for 1700 and i'm told that it'll take around 600-800 to install with all the wiring and cutting that will have to be done. I am looking into level ten mod's for some gearing and as a bonus for buying this setup from the dealer i'm getting a discount on the type-s cams. 130 for the whole setup-40 for install. In my youth i jacked some si rims for my mechanic so he's kinda hookin me up. I think i'll be done with mods after this---except of course my 150 shot of NO2 and maybe an aem fuel rail. I'm almost tired of not having a car half the time because the bitch is always in the shop. My theory is this. 150 shot is a lot yeah, but if i blow the tranny i can always drop my stock back in--unless i sell it!

level 10 doesn't do manual trannies. Your best bet will be to get a new clutch setup

Good luck bro. All I can say is that if this works, the value and price of wrecked 6 speeds will be astronomical!
