i say c-west, full front sides and back, if they make that count me in, oh and im not too worried about other CL's in hawaii, no one has a cf hood yet, no one has black housing headlights yet, a lot of ppl dont know this stuff even comes out cuz they're not on the forums

 

sup guys.. rmstoico can do good quality kits but I don't think most of us here can't afford his price.. but I know he does very good job and the quality is very high.. not to mention the fitment as well... I give props to him for having this type of skill....

i know it's better if all of us have different kits.. to be unique.. but if we look at each others budget.. i mean not all of us here can get a custom kit.. no deep pockets man.. so just having a kit that looks good with our car is a big accomplishment and brings joy ofcourse to the owner no matter if someone from another state or city has the same kit.. how many civics and accords have you guys seen in magazines that have the same kit? I guess if you have the addiction to make ur ride nice.. it wouldn't matter what other people would say or think.. just my 2 cents.. anyway.. i'm just trying to help other folks here to have a kit as much as I do as well.. I hope this will go through...

 

I am interested still, however I'm not doing anything until I see an exact pic of what the front, side skirts, and rear bumper are going to look like. If anyone can place a pic of each individual piece, (or ideally the whole thing), that would be alot easier for everyone to make a decision!

 

sup guys.. i just got an email from BODYKITS.org and they told me that they can do the C-East kit from the civic.. but there's one problem....

sup xerothermic.. they told me that your car had been wrecked before in the front and they said they can't use yours as a mold because the frame has been damaged already...

I think this is a great thing ur doing here KitsJAG5254. I've been looking for a kit for my CL forever.

I'm very interested in purchasing a kit if the group deal goes, but I want to see some pics of it before I pay $700.
I'd let you use my car in a second for as long as you want, but I'm in FL, so unless you know any kit companies here...sorry.

Good luck on this and keep us updated on what's going on cause I definitely want to get in on this.

I'm in So cal, and would probably do it if it was still summer, but I need my car to get to school. I guarentee they have shitty quality fiberglass anyway. Oh well!

 

If I only leave in Cali I would not let this pass by.. getting a free kit does not happen everyday.. oh well.. i hope someone in Cali will volunteer...

 

I think what we should do, while we're waiting for a volunteer, is commit to a certain bodykit.
Then we can post pics of the kit, and maybe we'll get more people interested and someone to give up their car for a few weeks.

Personally, I think we should go for a more classy kit... to fit with the Acura name.
If you've ever seen the bodykits for Mercedes or BMW, you know they're not extreme, but still enhance the look of the car greatly.

Also, maybe a new post should be started, bc this one is getting longer than most people want to read...

I was the one who started this thread and contacted bodykits.org to start a group buy, unfortunatley.. we don't have a volunteer that can be used to make a new kit.. I have a question.. can't u guys use that BW2 kit to make another different kit? I don't know anything about how to make a mold or kit.. so let me know if you guys will produce more kits for the Frist Generation CL.. thanks
