BlackWidow Alarm and Remote starter

Does anyone have one installed??

When I bought my car it can with a Black Widow Alarm and Remote Starter. He said all I had to do was get it reprogrammed. I went to a place by the crib and they told me that there were some serious problems with some Black Widow products. Something about it catching fire or some crazy shit like that.

I think that this guy is crazy but does anyone have any experience with Black Widow?

The only fire hazzard I've seen is the backup battery mid-section enlarge twice the size. So insead of looking like a retangular cube it looked like a mango. But this isn't specific to Black Widow Alarms. I seen this on several DEI-produced alarms (Viper, Hornet, etc).
