Aww man changing that fuel filter was a bitch!! I fucking hated that thing!! Seriously, it looks easy and it is but getting to those bolts, I just had such a hard time doing. It took way longer than it should've, no matter what angle I went at or how many good ideas I had there was always something in my way so that I couldn't loosen the bolts. Putting them back on was even worse, one of the bolts fell somewhere deep into the bowels of the engine bay, which meant I couldn't put it back together tight enough and so I had a fuel leak from the filter. So improvised and took off another bolt and put it in the spot of the missing bolt just so I could drive my car with out a fuel leak. Then luckily I find the missing bolt like a month later laying in my driveway so I then try to install it in the open spot and it just won't go back in. I tried for at least half an hour with all the tools at my disposal and I just couldn't get the right angle and apply the force at the right time. So I quit and now the damn bolt is sitting next to my keyboard and is taunting and laughing at me as I type this!! FUCK YOU BOLT!!

Have you installed the alarm system yet? Are/Did you doing/do it yourself? Seems like alot of work to install an alarm.

What is that wrapped in saran wrap sitting in front of the dynamat and to the right of the spool of blue wire?

That's one big battery terminal you got there, you trying to make up for something? You know what they say about guys with big battery terminals!!

^That looks like the Magnaflow muffler sitting next to the blue wire spool.

That's a whole lot of parts Chris, remind me of my room a few weeks back - ups boxes everywhere... what does the power tower do? where do you install it?

Did you get the tranny cooler in? It's very easy to do.

Muff isn't a magnahoe, and those are TSX projectors, the black projectors are projector fogs to replace my oem fogs that are shot. Keeping all the oem wiring, just changing to projector fogs

The TSX proj's are for the headlights

How much did you pay for the TSX projectors?

I was at a swap meet a few months ago and there was a guy who had 2 passenger side TSX headlights for sale. I could've gotten both for $50. Good Deal? Are the passenger side projectors angled differently somehow to light up the right side of the road for signs and things?

The projectors are the same, there wouldn't be any difference. I got both for $100

I paid like $200 for the a6 projectors I'm not using, anyone wanna buy a set?

Helix power tower is a throttle body spacer, goes between the TB and the IM to make the air coming in swirl in a vortex, can't wait to install it with my thermoblok spacers, ground kit, 4 gauge charge and starter cables, ignition, UR pullies, headers and exhaust.

Lecture me on the TB spacer and thermoblok spacer, what's the diff? where do they go (i know the thermoblok is between IM and TB, then where does the TB spacer go?)...

you got that backwards. Logically wouldn't the Throttle body spacer go between the throttlebody and the intake manifold. The thermoblock spacer is between the Intake manifold and the awww I'm having a brain fart, but it's the part where the pistons and shit are. IDK whatever, I'm tired and I'm going to sleep!!

There are 2 thermoblok spacers, one goes between the block and the IM, the other goes between the IM and TB, the helix goes between the IM and TB too

Oh god I've tried it 3 times already and have given up. I'll let the dealership mess with that crap. That bottom bolt is hell.

With the bottom bolt that connects the fuel line to the filter I think I just put a wrench on the bottom bolt on the fuel line to hold it still and then put a wrench at the top of the fuel filter and I just twisted the whole fuel filter loose that way by using the top of the fuel filter and not letting the bottom bolt move. My problems were with the tree bolts that hold the filter in place, the one on the passenger side was easiest but the 2 on the driver side were and still are a nightmare for me.

jeez, i know you can get them for a lot less than 200
what's the deal with them though.. are they bigger/harder to fit?

im starting to piece together my new lighting setup... im thinking tsx projectors unless your a6's are going for less and are just as easy to fit

That's what my mechanic friend told me would be the bitch, I got a banjo bolt socket, and am going to be trying this, it may be a bit easier for me since my bumper, strut brace, and fuse/starter cables are out of the way, hopefully i can get in there. Batman, I'll try twisting like u said if I can't get to it, it's not a bad idea.
