bird poop etching stains....how do you deal with them?

okay so i realize theres a general "detailing" section of acurazine that i can probably go to to find great answers...but lately ive felt the need to stay closer to home with the first gens when asking about stuff. but........

BIRD POOP ETCHING STAINS. man i didnt even wait that long. i got it during the night time and when i woke up in the morning it was there..fucking geese...it was huge...anyway i watched the most of it off, used a clay bar after (for like an hour) and was able to get most of it off. but theres still the etching. im so pissed

my obvious road would be to wet sand with a fine grit (what do you guys recommend) and then polish. BUT. i dont have a buffer...or atleast a legit one (porter cable or any of those crazy dual speed ones). plus id rather do stuff by hand anyway for fear of messin up my clear any further. anyway..how have you guys dealt with this. do any of you have any methods by hand i can try? or maybe a method that doesnt require wet sanding? its been about almost a week and im afraid the etching is just gonna keep eating at my paint.

thank you in advance

Didn't you just have it painted? I would hit up a detailer or body shop if you don't have a buffer, definitely going to need some paint correction.

Full coverage insurance and a brick. Bam! Problem solved.
On a serious note, maybe some #000 steel wool and purple stuff? That's what I use to remove old glue from the inside of a back window after I take old tint off(not purple stuff tho I use an ammonia based cleaner to remove the glue). The #000 steel wool won't scratch the glass. By the way that's called triple zero or "triple aught" steel wool. Don't go in and ask for hashtag triple 0 steel wool. You may get laughed at.
