Big Problem
I just got a fuel pump changed recently, and now my car wont start and i have a feeliong its that because the starter goes and everythign sounds right but it soudns liek fuel isnt reaching the engine for combustion. The fuel gauage also says below empty even though i just poured in over 4 gallons from my lawn mower tank. What do you guys think?

Ya it was the Acura, i am CHOMPING them, can you believe i called and no one form service would pick up and the receptionist kpet apologizing because she kept paging service and got no response. Anyways i tried giving it gas and starting it and it didnt smell like gas in the engine and my fuel guage no is about a quarter inch past empty.

Cannot believ this shit, they are charging me to tow the vehicle and they said that the fuel pump is not the same as the fuel sending unit. I am so fuckin mad.

if u ran ur car out of gas u need to prime the injectors. all u do is find the fuel rail. ther is a little black cap remove the cap and push in the valve with something clean a pen will work. before u push it in make sure u have a rag covering the valve. gas will spray out like hell. its ok tho. have someone turn the key to run not start. but run to where all the lights come on in the dash. if gas shoots out like crazy then release the valve fast. it wont hurt anything as long as ur not smoking near it. then put the black cap back on, and put the key back to run again 3 more times. then try to start it. if nothing yet then check ur fuel pressure or the fuse by the drivers kick pannel. good luck

i wish it was a weekend and i could have gotten this advice. Basically the car got towed tot he dealership and they say its the fuel pump or the pump relay. Either way i am driving a TSX until it gets fixed

i'll explain the whole story of my rentals:
So, if I remove the resonator box, I get an EGR clogg, then when i put it back on, I get it again....I kinda did that 3 times and got a loaner lots of times. I have warranty up to 150k, so thats covered everytime...
First: RSX for 3 days
Second: Integra for 3 days
Third: TSX for 5 days
Then I stopped.....it was cool though
AN EGR VALVE CLOGG GOT ME A LOANER 3 TIMES!!! They never got a clue....
