Better pics of my headlights
Here are some better pics of my blackhoused lights...I know it's a 4x4, but I'm ordering springs and shocks VERY soon along with new wheels.
This pic of my Greddy Evo2 came out blurry but I liked it still...

Amber corners for life. It gives off a JDM look. That is, with black cars. I had JDM amber corners on my CB7 (90 Accord)....man I loved that car...
Thanks for the comments....when I get the drop and wheels, I'll do a real photoshoot....something artsy.

As far as Blackouts go...Im doing mine this week. I do have a few questions.
I guess most of you use FLAT Black right? The reason I ask is because I cant seem to find a *plastic paint* in Flat Black...(only in gloss black) Sooo, I bought some *plastic primer*and then plan on using reg. Flat Black paint over the plastic primer. (you think I'd still need a special plastic paint, or would the primer help/be enough??
Also, Do I need to sand down the chrome? And whats the best kind of silicone to use? Is there a special kind for plastic or headlights?

what i did was wetsand the chrome all off with 200 then 400 grit sand paper... its white under the chrome. then i painted with flat black for bbq's (buddy had it lying around and it was high temp), it didnt need primer bc of the type of paint it was.. then a few coats of hi temp gloss and it was a done deal

i think the problem is this
97 is sportier
98+ is classier.
so it depends where you're going
i personally wanted to capitalize on this car's potential to look like it belonged in the new 30k car class. if i didn't sell it i would have retro'd some led tail/brake lights out of benz, or g35 coupe into our rear lamps. i loved when people would say hey. what the hell is that? did you just buy it? HAHAHAHAHA fools. now only if i got 30k for it when i sold it instead of only 10.
i look at those pics and say to myself. damn that's a 97. its 8 yrs old! there isn't many cars that age like the 1st gen cl. supra, 3000gt, rx7, older z to name a few. it was so ahead of its time.
